Founded in 2012 by Healdsburg native Kyle Cott, Sonoma Second Home specializes in the management and care of privately owned second homes throughout Sonoma County. Our local team provides property inspections, proactive maintenance, vendor management, and project oversight, giving homeowners a trusted presence while they’re away.


Kyle’s passion for adventure and his intimate knowledge of the California wine country stem from his upbringing in Healdsburg. From the tranquil banks of the Russian River to the secluded backroads of the Sonoma Coast, there simply isn’t a more beautiful place to own a vacation home.

His background in luxury construction, engineering, and project management helped shape the company’s hands-on approach to property care. Prior to founding Sonoma Second Home, he served as Lead Engineering & Maintenance Manager for the Michelin-starred Farmhouse Inn, Restaurant & Spa in Forestville, spearheading a $30 million expansion and remodel project.

Today, Kyle and the Sonoma Second Home team combine years of experience with an established network of trusted local contractors and service providers. We know our clients’ homes, understand their individual needs, and make sure the details are handled, so when homeowners return to Sonoma County, they can simply enjoy being here.
