We made our first wine from Sonoma County grapes in 1876 and have been continuously making wine in the same stone cellar in Healdsburg, California since 1890. As we have from the beginning, our wines reflect Sonoma County - a small, scenic and stunningly diverse region along the Pacific Coast. Sonoma County's Simi Winery is one of California's oldest wineries. It was founded in 1876 by Giuseppe and Pietro Simi who planted vineyards near Healdsburg because the gently rolling hills reminded them of their native Tuscan winegrowing region. Simi now has vineyards in both the Alexander Valley and Russian River Valley.
