Sundays in the Plaza: Muleskinner Stomp

About the band: Muleskinner Stomp is a lively bluegrass band based out of San Francisco and Oakland, CA. Since 2017, the band has been playing venues up and down California including main stage appearances at the Good Old Fashioned Bluegrass Festival, Northstar Beerfest + Bluegrass Festival, and many more. The band is made up of members Matt Lauer (also of Rusty Stringfield and the Beauty Operators) on bass, Jim McCall and Chris Eccles (formerly of Nobody From Nashville) on dobro and mandolin, respectively, and Chris Wolff on guitar. Their sound draws upon classic bluegrass, country, blues, and punk rock - using classic bluegrass instrumentation and haunting harmony singing. A blend of fiery originals and heartfelt waltzes along with some treasured favorites round out their set. Join us for a series of relaxing afternoons in the plaza this summer from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM. Each week will feature a live music performance from a local band or performer. Not to be confused with Tuesdays in the Plaza, this is a great opportunity to bring a picnic, sit back, relax and enjoy the melodies.
