Tickets to Tastemakers' Weekend!

Get to know the Tastemakers of Healdsburg during this first ever Tastemaker Weekend! We’ve put together an enticing list of hands-on Healdsburg experiences with everything from an authentic Italian wine cave dinner to a pastry making class at a popular local bakery with a history reaching back almost a century. Hone your wine blending skills with a winemaker-led class, explore our stunning countryside on a guided trail run or hunt for garden treasures in a foraged floral design class at an organic flower farm. A portion of each ticket price will go to the Healdsburg High School’s culinary program to support Healdsburg’s future Tastemakers.

WEEKEND SCHEDULE
 
FRIDAY (JAN. 24)
 
WOLF COFFEE ROASTING WORKSHOP, 9-11 am, $75/limit 6
Origins of coffee, science of roasting and brewing techniques, cuping.  Includes 2 bags coffee.
 
LAMBERT BRIDGE WINE BLENDING CLASS AND LUNCH, 11 am + lunch, $150/limit 10 
Winemaker, Jennifer Higgins, leads this hands-on experience handcrafting a Bordeaux blend (to take with you).  Learn to foil, fill, cork and bottle.  Includes light lunch.
 
COSTEAUX PASTRY CLASS, 2.5 hour TBD, $125/limit 10
Presparation of classic french pastry, Pâte à Choux with head pastry chef, Karah Williams.  Includes apron, recipes & champagne reception.
 
BREATHLESS WINES TOUR & SABRAGE, 12-1:30, $99/ 
Sparkling wine robots in action.  Learn how those bubbles get into the wine.  Includes bottle of wine and flight of 3 wine tasting.
 
JORDAN HIGH TEA, 3-4:30 pm, $110/limit 24
Foraged tea service by Exec. Chef Todd Knoll.  Includes champagne, Jordan pours, and traditional array of classic high tea sandwiches and petit fours.
 
A. RAFANELLI & BACI VERTICAL TASTING AND WINE CAVE DINNER, 5-9 pm, $175/limit 20
Vertical library tasting with appetizers.  Authentic Italian dinner in wine cave.
 
ALLEY 6 DISTILLERY CLASS AND TASTING, 6-8pm, $100/limit 15
Cocktail making session, personalized tour and spirit making process discussion.  Includes hand-dipped was top rye whiskey to take home.
 
RELISH COOKING WITH WINEMAKERS DINNER, 6-9 pm, $129/LIMIT 20
Cooking side-by-side with 4 of HBG winemakers.  Custom menu preparation and pairing, one for each wine.  Includes dinner and wine feast.
 
SATURDAY (JAN.25)
 
HRC TRAIL RUN, 8-10 am, FREE/no limit
Guided Trail Run from HBG to Fitch Mtn.
 
SCAVENGER HUNT, 10 am and 2 pm, starts $55/No Limit
How well do you know Healdsburg?  Find out in this competitive scavenger hunt. Solve riddles, complete challenges and wine fabulous prizes.
 
DRAGONFLY FORAGED DESIGN CLASS, 11 am - 2 pm, $150/Limit 10
Join Pam Bell, seasoned floral designer and director of Dragonfly Floral School in their 6 acre garden.  See what the winter garden has to offer in the way of natural design.  Includes materials, supplies, hot tea, cheese and chocolates.

SOUTH OF THE BOARDER CULINARY CLASS AND LUNCH, 11 am, $120/limit 15
Instructor: Chef Mateo Granados. Hands on- tortilla making. Making Free GMO, Certified organic masa and then making the tortillas. Chef will also demo how to do Slow Braised French Poulet with seasonal vegetables. He will also do a demo on aromatic baked rice. While the rice and the chicken are cooking they will be making the tortillas to enjoy with the rest of the meal once ready.  Also included is a seasonal margarita or a non alcoholic agua fresca.

RELISH WILD MUSHROOM FORAY & DEMO LUNCH, 9:30 am - 2 pm, $154/limit 24 
Fundamentals of edible wild mushroom foraging, followed by cooking demonstration and four-course mushroom lunch, served with wine.
 
BREATHLESS WINES TOUR & SABRAGE, 12 - 1:30 pm, $99
