The March meeting of the Healdsburg Garden Club features Liz Parsons, Vice President of the Milo Baker Chapter of the California Native Plant Society. Liz relates how she was transfixed by the striking differences between the plants found in her native Illinois and Northern California/Sonoma County. She began her study of our native plants, expanding her knowledge by growing them out from seed. She has cultivated her Kenwood garden for over thirty years.
