Art Exhibit: Colors of Winter

Date: FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE 11/15/25 DECEMBER EXHIBIT: COLORS OF WINTER EXHIBIT DATES: November 24– December 28, 2025 RECEPTION/HOLIDAY OPEN HOUSE: DECEMBER 6, 2025, 10am to 7pm: Join in to meet the artists and cheer the season, the show and enjoy holiday goodies. As part of the festivities, we will host our monthly free drawing for an artwork by Linda Loveland Reid. Saturday evening the Gallery will also take part in “Sip and Shop,” a ticketed event sponsored by the Healdsburg Chamber of Commerce. We are especially pleased to partner with We Know Jack winery who will serving tastings from 4 – 7 pm. Sonoma County artists, Beverly Bird, Willow LaLand, Karen Miller, Linda Loveland Reid, Laura Roney, Ron Sumner, Jo Tobin-Charleston and Carolyn Wilson present Colors of Winter, an eclectic mix of works that ring out a warm welcome to the 2025 holiday season. As the flamboyant red-oranges of autumn fade, these works capture the painterly skies and the bright splashes of color that brighten our dark winter days. In Roney’s “Celebrating Sunset” we feel the magic of a snowy field sparkling in the waning light. The glorious joy of a beautiful sunrise is captured in Bird’s “Bonjour Montmartre.” Nature’s colorful offerings are displayed in Wilson’s “Poppy Pods,” Miller’s “Amaranth” and Sumner’s “Sonoma Vineyard.” Reid lights up the hearth with her dynamic painting, “Candles.” LaLand cheers the season with roses and rosé in “Thanksgiving.” Finally, one could become a holiday star in one of Tobin-Charleston’s star-studded crystal pendant/bracelet sets. For the Holiday Season our Staircase Showcase features hand-crafted 3D artist offerings. Ceramic artists Kathy Brown, Joann Cassady, Randy Snyder, Karen Norton and Steve Sanders offer a variety of vases, platters, bowls and more. Our glass artists, Brian & Nancy Roberts and Melissa McCann, present gorgeous fused glass art and decorative boxes. Plus, brand new at the gallery, we have animal art captured in wood sculptures and cute fused glass sculptures. And, as always, throughout the gallery you can find the perfect earrings, necklace or pendant from collections by our local jewelers: Galley-member Jo Tobin-Charleston, Aaron Poovey, Laura Buckner, Hamida Judith Dides, Elaine Greene, Heyoka Merrifield, JoAnna Noble, and Barbara Tocher.
